Outreach

One of the main missions of ICARe is to raise the awareness for drug addiction, mental disorders and neuroscience among the general public, from kindergarten children to the elderly. We hope to achieve this goal by communicating our research to the public through personal encounters and media appearances.

Meeting with the public

Neuroscience and drug addiction for highschool and elementary school children.

“We meet routinely with children of all ages and provide them with a close experience with Neuroscience (for all ages) and drug addiction (high schools) research. We do that both by visiting students at their schools or by inviting high school students to either scientific meetings or the university, as part of the Hebrew University’s youth program “קלף מנצח” (Winning Card), in which we host Jerusalem high school students of all religions and provide them with a close encounter with Neuroscience.”

Neuroscience and drug addiction for the general audience

We provide lectures on topics related to drug addiction or other neuroscientific research to audiences of all ages.
